BACK THE TRACK 5K

The Woodford County Track Club is hosting a 5K/ 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 7:30 pm. It will be start and finish on the new track at the high school. Proceeds will go to support the Woodford County Track Club which supports the track and field programs Woodford County. They provide scholarships and equipment for elementary, middle and high school students.

STICK HORSE RACE 

At 7:00 pm, children ages 8 and under are invited to join in a Stick Horse Race before the 5k race. Each child will get their very own stick horse to race and keep. You don't need to sign up for this in advance, but we are interested in whether you want to participate (so we can get a general head count).  You'll actually sign up (and sign a waiver) on race night for the Stick Horse Race.

The cost to participate is $5. Payment for the Stick Horse Race will be made on the night of the race (cash or credit/debit card accepted).
